Freelance Consultants, make sure your profile is complete!
Over the last few months, we have seen a record level of activity on the platform from all of our partner and end user customers, and from our global network of freelance consultants.
Our global network of consultants is constantly growing, and we hope you are able to utilise the platform to its full potential, and build some great relationships with Dynamics end users, and Microsoft partners as well!
We have had a number of questions recently, firstly from freelance consultants, asking what to put in their profile, but also from partners and end user customers, asking for more information on particular consultants.
As such, we wanted to provide some of our own guidance on what the best practice is for freelance consultants when completing their profile, and to ensure partners and end users have the right information about you to get in touch straight away! Our own research has shown that customers are 90% more likely to engage with consultants that have a profile image, and a general overview description of their skill sets.
We recommend the following are completed to ensure that you show up in search results, and so a client has sufficient information to engage with you:
- Profile photo
- Profile description (Without personal contact information)
- Dynamics product selected
- Skills (tick box based on experience)
- Languages – (tick box based on FLUENT languages spoken only)
To provide an example, below are two images of how our partner and end user customers will view profiles… one is completed correctly, the other isn’t.
